I was beginning to give a bit of credit to Republicans for taking a swing at new ideas and giving up their obstructionist ways,as demonstrated by their new barter for health care ideas. I was – before Dick Cheney announced his backing of a tea party candidate in the Florida Senatorial Primary. The ball of snarling and elusive charm has sound reasons you Republicans should select Marco Rubio over Charlie Crist. In Dick world, Crist has all but jumped into the lap of the Obama administration, and the last thing they want to do is appear to cooperate.
In another wild moment of optimism, it sounded as if RNC Michael Steele was being honest with African American students at DePaul University. If the Republican party has done nothing for them, just wait until they embrace the Tea Party as Steele advises….wait a long, long time.
