You know, we don’t do much Rachel Maddow here on Kick! She is just too smart for us. Smart, serious with answers. What’s funny about that? She should probably be the one doing Meet the Press rather than being on it.
There is an important political dynamic at play with Rachel’s reference to bowling leagues. This coming election is going to be decided by just what our Founding Fathers most feared when putting together the "democracy" part of The Constitution. A Mob of Morons making the decisions. Sure, bowlers, plumbers, and Mama Grizzlies keep beer sales up, our toilets free, and gives us lots of people we can look down on while we wander through the now brighter and wider isles of Walmart. But… Should they be running the show?
First we have the "Independents" issue. For the most part these are Republicans who just can’t stand the "Idiot Wind" faction of the GOP. They are poorly read and heavily disengaged from politics. They make their decisions on sound bites and tweets, moving their votes to the GOP come November mostly due to media soundbites they may have caught during the ads between "Big Brother" and "My Wife is Too Fat Get me a New One!" It must be so because it sure isn’t due to any logical or rational thought patterns. You know how proud the Obama Administration is of what they call educating Americans to what is really going on. I got two words for that. JIMMY CARTER. Please! Emotional blather is what drives votes in America, not knowing anything.
In the worst recession in history ALL Republicans in both Houses of Congress, especially Sarah Palin and the Teatards are for extending tax breaks for the wealthy while refusing to extend unemployment payments to the unemployed.
That is now the popular and the right thing to do. In fact ALL letters to the Editor in the Houston Chronicle a few days ago said so. Every one.
What the hell has happened to us? I’ll tell you what happened. Too many liberals have been waving their fingers in faces over issues of political correctness and making fun of these idiots lack of education and intelligence that the idiots have become so angry-mad that they will flush their own self interest down the toilet just to get their licks in on liberals. You Betcha! Vengeance…
Secondly is Democrat voter apathy. The magic is gone, they aren’t coming out to vote this time. It’s an off year election which makes it even worse.
And lastly the winning hand. A passionate, boisterous, angry-mad, engaged gang of Idiot-wind Conservatives who will suffer hurricanes, avalanches, earthquakes, and even The God damn Rapture to claw their way to the voting booths come November 2nd to pull straight Republican levers. You betcha!
This is exactly what our Founding Fathers most feared and why they limited voting to only white male landowners. IT’S IN THE CONSTITUTION! AND THE CONSTITUTION IS SACRED!
BTW, that same paper also states, "Congress shall make no law respecting the establishment of religion…" Not "a" religion, but "religion." What the Founding Fathers were saying was let’s create a nation based on reason rather than silliness. Though they made sure to let it be known that we could all be as silly as we want outside the process of governing. Americans, as we can see by most every recent poll, takes the right to be silly very very seriously.
