Video: Stephen Colbert does not ask the question is Elena Kagan Gay?

The Wall Street Journal is tied with USA Today for having the largest circulation for a daily in America, twice that of the runner up the New York Times. It is also not only a hardcore conservative publication but it is owned by Fox News Rupert Murdoch.

The controversy now revolves around the front page of the WSJ with a 17 year old picture of the Supreme Court nominee batting at the plate. Gay magazines and others claim that the newspaper used the picture to create the suspicion that Elena Kagan is a Lesbian. WSJ Kagan Softball Photo

This morning all present on MSNBC "Mornin’ Joe" – including Mika and guests – angrily denied that was the WSJ’s intention! All except one regular on the show who agrees with the gay magazines that it was put on the front page specifically for its readers to see the woman as gay without having to say it outright [which Colbert is playing his sarcasm to].
Guess who? Pat Buchanan of all people! Who is gay is on Pat’s mind a lot because he is a conservative and that’s how conservatives think. Always imagining where gays put this and that, just as I assume they are always imagining what their parents favorite position was…

So there you go! Perhaps most of American does not see it that way, but you can bet your last bippy that the WSJ readers – just like Pat Buchanan – sees BULL DYKE in that picture just as the WSJ staff intended.

So what’s the point of doing it? Will it cause Republican Senators during this Summer’s advise and consent scream "Lesbo! Lesbo!" at the woman?  Of course not, Joe Wilson is in the HOUSE and J D Hayworth has not yet been elected to the Senate. The point is that as she is going to be appointed no matter, conservatives just want to cause her as much personal hurt and pain as they can. It’s the nature of the Beast.

Pat Buchanan is right! OMG!
