The Wanda Sykes Show is no substitute for MAD TV which it replaced. But for many it is a good replacement for Bill Maher who will be gone until February. I found the problem with these first three shows is there is far too much of Wanda’s lightweight pals, one in particular that seems to have no personality, no talent, isn’t funny and has no stage presence. An Ed McMahon who won’t shut up.
This new segment called Wandarama uses the same format as NEW RULES.
All in all it’s good to be exposed to what a Black Lesbian woman who hasn’t straightened her hair has to say about this and that. It’s way different than Wolf Blitzer.
