It’s not just weed, it’s most every policy that the Democrats are both on the right side of and have the majority of Americans with them. Health care, immigration, war in the Middle East, minimum wage, equal work for equal pay, women’s reproductive rights, infrastructure, environment, clean energy, guns, evolution, the Tea Party, education and so on.
What the Democrats fail at are perceptions, gut feelings and anything to do with African Americans. In other words they need some high end bullpoopers who can turn a phrase and redefine words to meet their politics.
