South Carolina governor Nikki Haley signed legislation last week to allow concealed weapons in bars. What a damn good idea. Nothing goes better with getting drunk than a big ole gun in your pocket. I suppose the next step is guns on planes.
Here in Texas where we can already have guns in bars – and churches and rock concerts and NBA games – Democrat Wendy Davis who is running for Governor of Texas came out last week for OPEN carry guns in all those places including bars.

So when you come across a gang of angry drunks down at the your favorite rap bar or country roadhouse, is it better to see their guns or not to see them?
