America’s Best Christian, Mrs. Betty Bowers, knows that Halloween’s pagan gore can’t match the scary, spooky Bible when it comes to the truly horrifying. That’s why it’s appropriate that this year her neighborhood is ‘taking Halloween back – for Christ.’

Betty is doing her part to make Halloween both scary and religious. Each trick or treater who comes to Betty’s door is dressed as someone from a gruesome Old Testament scripture. There is ample inspiration in the Old Testament and in any religious art exhibit – and unlike the community haunted house – it’s free!
Knock,knock. Is it Casper the Friendly Ghost? No,it’s God, the angry, Holy Ghost… There is no limit to the creativity of these tykes!
But what about traditional scary costumes of devils and monsters and things that go bump in the night?
