Michael Moore’s new documentary WHERE TO INVADE NEXT concerns what Americans hate most, hearing any advice from OTHER COUNTRIES on how to solve economic and social problems. Much like all Moore’s documentaries, it is at odds with the very core of American values; cars, the gun culture, the war culture, universal health care, capitalism and now this one addressing prisons, jobs and welfare.
I am waiting for his documentary about what most draws us into all such crap, sure he covers the violence, the selfishness and the jingo well but not the intolerant evangelical Christianity that drives so much of it. Though I suppose Bill Maher already covered that with his documentary Religulous, I would like Moore spin it too. But then again, Moore sings to the working class had had best stay away or people would start not to like him.
But we do need a Religulous II to cover this Republican primary season with Mike Huckabee, Ted Cruz, Bobby Jindal, Rick Santorum, Rand Paul and Kim Davis replacing the US Constitution with Sharia Law. Who would of thought the loudest voices against Sharia Law would be the first to embrace it? Well besides you and I.
