It is not just historians we cannot trust – well other than evangelical fundamentalist silly historian David Barton – but scientists as well. Well other that Oral Roberts who through the much Christian applauded "nitwit method" of science (beginning with a conclusion and finding only data that supports that already arrived at conclusion) found that Jesus Christ was exactly 900 feet tall. You Betcha! That’s were Michele Bachmann got her learning.
Whether it be denial of climate change – we had to change the name of that because when we said "global warning" these nitwits would laugh and say "Bwhahaha! It’s cold here today!". Or evolution, or supply side economics, or that tax breaks for the wealthy create jobs (they have had tax breaks now for over a decade and created doodlysquat), or even admitting professional wrestling is fake.
And it is not just "some" science that is all wrong, to deny both climate change and evolution they have to believe meteorology is wrong, climatology is wrong, cosmology is wrong, astronomy is wrong, geology is wrong, anthropology is wrong, physics is wrong, chemistry is wrong, archeology is wrong, paleontology is wrong, biology is wrong, thousands of tons of bone, rock and fossils are wrong, all public museums, libraries and universities are wrong and two millions of scientists and every Nobel laureates are also wrong.
And, Glenn Beck, Sarah Palin, Michele Bachmann are right. How can half the people in this country believe that crap? God and Grover Norquist.
