Catholics sure do take the high moral ground on this issue. Like they do with their present politics of moving back to the Dark Ages with birth control. They are even more intolerant and out of touch on that than even the Taliban. They keep doubling down on it too. I guess moving the issue away from child molestation to trying to out Taliban the Taliban is a winner for a religion completely controlled by old bachelors in black dresses and beanies. Oh and sometimes they even wear giant clams on their heads. You know, wanting to fit in….
Why has the news that Australians are the happiest people on Earth been so poorly reported here in America? Could it be that Australians are also the least Religious nation on Earth? It’s beginning to seem to me as if the more miserable one is, the more religious they are. Both individually and nationally. Anyone for a vacation in the Sudan or Afghanistan? Or Northern Ireland? Well at least in Northern Ireland its not so much misery at it is being drunk. Misery loves company.
