Lot’s of theology in this one, I was not aware that Hell and Satan were so exclusively Christian, which brings up the notion that there is nothing for Jews to be afraid of.
Wait… I suppose that would only apply to the afterlife, Christians must fear God or go to Hell, while Jews don’t have to worry about that.
Rather Jews have to worry about fathers killing their sons, genocidal floods, Roman occupations, the Dark Ages, being slaughtered during the Crusades, the Spanish Inquisition, antisemitism, the Holocaust, more antisemitism and being driven into the Sea by Muslims. You know, REAL BAD THINGS rather than IMAGINED BAD THINGS.
So what does this dependence on reality rather than fantasy get the Jews?
