Slut Shaming Limbaugh Backtracks Claim 14 Year Old Krystal Ball Posed Nude

Rush Limbaugh’s inability to pass up a chance to slut-shame a woman whose brains, looks, or party affiliation threatens him has cost much needed sponsors to stampede in the past, but he apparently cannot help himself.  In this context, a slut is a woman who reminds the porky one of a dame who once turned him down, a woman so far out of his league that it still rankles him decades later and bonds him with listeners, as only a humiliating common experience can.

In 2010 Limbaugh bled advertisers profusely after calling Georgetown University student, and birth control advocate Sandra Fluke a ‘slut.’
Likewise, Limbaugh labeled Tracie McMillion “over-educated” – an accusation which did not send her scurrying back to the kitchen, pregnant, and throwing her shoes over her shoulder.

Earlier this month Limbaugh falsely claimed that progressive journalist Krystal Ball posed for nude photos at age fourteen. Speaking on her show Thursday, Ball noted that Limbaugh’s claim was false, saying she “did not pose nude” when she “was 14 or 15.”

“Slut shaming is an old tactic in American politics, in world politics,” Ball added. “It’s used to say that women aren’t worthy of being anything other than sexual objects. And frankly, it’s bulls***. I didn’t want to let it slide without calling it out.”

Limbaugh, forced to retract the story issued a sniping correction. While Limbaugh allowed that there was no nude photo, he referred to Ball as a “Hostette on PMSNBC.”

Oh, the cutting wit. You and I both know that Limbaugh would have his sock garters off in a heartbeat if only someone would give him a television show – in exchange for nude photos.

By the way. Limbaugh claimed that the nude photo of a 14-year-old Ball appeared on “Facebook or MySpace or MyButt.” None of the social media sites existed when Ball was 14. Where do you suppose Limbaugh is viewing nude photos of fourteen year old girls?
Should someone be monitoring America’s moral arbiter?
