Gold: Rush Limbaugh. Never one to let a tragedy go by without blaming the victims, today Limbaugh takes on the miners in the Upper Big Branch Mine Disaster. "Where was the Union"
Limbaugh trumpeted! Indeed, that would have been a terrific question for Limbaugh to have investigated. The chances are that there would have been no tragedy to report, had the
miner’s repeated votes for unionizing not been shut down and their jobs threatened by the CEO of Massey Energy Don Blankenship. In the wake of the disaster, Blankenship, far from softening as a result of his negligence, has topped it. It’s a pity that Limbaugh hasn’t a
clue or a care for ‘those people.’ He could possibly have done some good.
Silver: Virginia Atty Gen Ken Cuccinelli is a man born in the right time and place, with the political climate gauge stuck on "crazy." If only he had the courage of his convictions! Cuccinelli taking part in a Climate Change Denial lawsuit, mocks EPA proof that too much CO2 could affect the environment. His best idea yet….is to hold his breath in a ‘scientific’ experiment.
Bronze: It’s Bill O’Reilly, using a surrogate stalker and producer from "Fox News" to chase and harass Al Gore, who made it very clear that he did not like "ambush journalism." Like
a true O’Reilly pro, such whining and amateurish harassment hasn’t been heard since – Bill’s last overnight "business trip" with a co-worker, a loofah, and a battery operated device or
two.
