Fracking is good for you!
Thank you Marita Noon for pointing out that oil and gas companies can do no wrong. As I sit here watching the local news of an oil spill off the Texas City Dike which is MY PRIMARY FISHING AREA.
Because of fracking and the Keystone pipeline the powers that be here in Texas are fighting hard, very hard to rescind our energy laws that does not allow us to export oil.
So just when you thought our gas prices would be going down and we would soon be able to give Saudi Arabia and Venezuela the finger, the Republicans – with the help of the kindly Koch Brothers – are doing everything they can to sell it out from under us. For as you well know, neither the Koch Brothers nor the oil companies make enough money now. They need more, much more. And to top it off, they work very hard and spend very much to deny the rest of us health insurance.
But not to worry, Americans will soon be voting to give both houses of Congress over to them! But why you ask? You know why. Because of our exceptional American affection for religious intolerance, our exceptional aversion to giving our hard earned tax money to lazy Negroes living downtown somewhere, and of course our exceptional gun madness unlike any place else on Earth.
