Even NPR did an article on the hipster movement today. Most who commented afterward agreed that alone was the signal of the end. Still, feelings run high among those who are not officially ‘hip.’ How can the unhip understand the attraction of Pabst Blue ribbon, mustaches, tattoos and bikes without brakes? People are tired of the tragically hip picking the used record racks clean. Oddly the one hipster question I saw addressed most often on NPR was: How do you get into those skinny damn jeans?
