There is a popular game fish out a ways in the sea. They get up to 100 pounds, fight well – usually on the surface for a good show, there is lots of meat and they good. In Florida, and I assume most of the civilized world, thet are called COBIA. A nice three syllable name that portends some Latin cool. A top brand of offshore fishing boats even picked it up as their brand name.
Down here in the less civilized part of the world, these fish are called LING. You know, like some yellow goo that flies out of you nose. You should see my new car, its a LING! This is my son Bob and my daughter Ling. WAITER! THERE’S A LING IN MY SOUP!
