Where is Mrs Ford? I would suppose she is holding a low profile what with everyone having in their mind’s eye this lardass having lunch under her dress.
But there is something I like about this guy. Brutal honesty? Everyman? Sticking it to the Man? A different drummer? He sure doesn’t seem to care what anyone thinks, including his wife. And from what I read, like his New Jersey partner in belly, he gets the job done.
Some may ask how such an unseemly character went from a quiet city council member to Mayor of a major city? Why did the people of Toronto vote for Grande Grosso?
I looked that up! I found that the previous mayor and administration were smarty pants do gooder liberals who thought they knew best than the people of Toronto who were in charge for too long. Hey, even Canadians can’t stand a smarty pants. Just like Americans, Canadians want to vote for someone they know they are smarter than. Bush Bush the historic example.
And to make things even more amusing, Charlie Sheen weighed in with support:
