A few years back I found that Drew Carey was also a right-wing douche bag. After I posted an article to that effect I was told by a liberal friend of mine that in bringing that to his attention (which he had not known) and being a Drew Carey fan [he was a fat beer drinking nerdy guy from Ohio], changed his view on me rather than Drew Carey. I was a mean old man who let the air out of his balloon.
I understand, it’s that Reagan Factor at work, don’t kick likable icons as it will only cause you pain.
