Navy Seal sniper Chris Kyle killed at Texas gun range by gun enthusiast Eddie Routh

chris kyle sniperI don’t even know where to begin with this one.  Gosh… How about… To protect ourselves we need to carry loaded rifles at the gun range.  No wait… Hmm… We need armed guards at the gun range.  No? If we are not safe at a gun range where everyone has a loaded gun where are we safe?

I am getting flashbacks from the bathroom scene of Full Metal Jacket.  Are veterans with PTSD suppose to have guns?  Here we have one gun enthusiast killing two other seasoned gun enthusiasts with just two shots. Seems that if you are a well trained gun enthusiast, as most gun enthusiasts say they are, all you need one shot per person. How often do gun enthusiasts go up against more than nine bad guys at one time? I’ll make a guess. NEVER.

So why do we need 30 rounds?  Oh, I remember from the Hearing the other day.  When a woman is in her bedroom closet and there are “3, 4 or 6” bad guys [minorities group up like that you know when they are on a baby killing rampage] pounding on the door to kill her children she needs at least 30 rounds from a “scary looking gun” to take care of things.

[You know what was so crazy about that NRA lady? That the story she told was about a woman in a closet protecting her kids with a six shooter. With only 4 shots she killed one on the spot and the other ran away and left her alone.  Gun enthusiasts have trouble thinking things out.  In fact thinking things out is such a problem for them maybe it should be considered criteria for not letting gun enthusiasts have guns in the first place.]

Remember as a great man once said, “It’s the people who really really want a gun who are the very ones who really really should not be allowed to have one.”

There is a much larger issue in all this.  One of the two things we cannot talk about. The other being Neo Cons are Jewish. DON’T SAY THAT!

A person who sits atop a hill in a bunker with a high powered rifle and a gigantic scope and kills 160 people having coffee, reading a book or taking a crap a mile away has nothing  to do with BRAVERY or COURAGE. Is this the kind of thing we should be handing out BRAVERY METALS for like tweets? It isn’t so much this or any soldier doing a necessary but onerous job, but a society that celebrates it and gobbles up his memoirs to make him not only the hero of our times, but a best selling millionaire as well.  Hahaha, the [fill in the blank] didn’t know what hit him! Lovin’ it!

Saying this kind of thing is what got Bill Maher fired from ABC. Though he was talking about greater distances. Soldiers sitting in a nice air conditioned room with a joystick flying Cruise Missiles into houses a continent away. It may be a necessary outtake of war, but it is not bravery or courageous.
