A young lad from Vancouver B.C.’s dreams were dashed long ago when his only dreams to grow up, join a seminary, and become a priest were dashed.

Young Christopher Paul Neil, was shunned by his teachers, who felt that what he lacked,

(and I DO like this bit), “is the moral backbone for the task”. Onward to a Bangkok school, where he he then applied. An official described him as “an introvert” .He was also said to have had difficulty cooperating with school officials and other teachers. It could be just me, but he seems to have trouble with so- called adults.

As with many of these cases, some are scoutmasters, camp counselors, senators, as well as “ordinary Joes”, as shown by the Dateline “To Catch a Predator” program. The 32 year old is now a well known, and now – often photographed teacher, as well as a photographer of sorts.

He was arrested in Thailand Friday, ending a global manhunt sparked by a decoded digitized photo in which he was seen sexually abusing at least a dozen young boys, in 200 photos taken across Southeast Asia.

In an unprecedented move, Interpol invited the public and other agencies to help in catching the heretofore hidden perpetrator, at that time known only for his funky lollipop “swirl disguised” photos. Over 300 people replied to the call, some on three continents,

With good information. A German computer expert reconstructed the images which Interpol then posted on it’s website with a call to help. He was wearing cuffs within 10 days, to say that Interpol is happy with the results is an understatement!

Lest you think the interesting bits are over, and thoughts of a screenplay gone too. Mr.

Neil lives 200 miles from his job in Korea, in a rented bungalow with a 23 year old transvestite. To be fair, it isn’t know whether the room mate knows anything about Mr.

Neil’s extracurricular affairs.

“Just one conviction over the abuse of a nine year old boy in Bangkok four years ago could well get Neil 20 years in prison, according the deputy national police chief, General Wonkut Meneerin. If other countries want to prosecute him, he could be extradited after serving any prison time received in Thailand, Wongkut added. Pedophile Christopher Paul Neil full story
