The freaks on film came out in force for the last round of elections. While the votes may be counted, these misguided and even ghoulish candidates have left us a legacy of video desperation.
Of course, we’ve seen the OZ parody made by John Dennis casting Nancy Pelosi as the Wicked Witch, but we haven’t seen some of the local attempts to paint the opposition in a bad light. Brace yourself, these ads range from obsessive/compulsive shower scenes, to demon sheep, a nightmarish Frankenstein spin-off, Christians with far arms, and a homage to macho man Dale Peterson which ends with a threat to voters! I don’t know why this Alabama candidate lost, he had such…um, passion.
