World Cup Dog Bite Collars, Beeler Cartoon

world cup dog bite c ollars

“Soccer’s governing body is investigating allegations that Uruguay’s striker Luis Suárez bit Italian defender Giorgio Chiellini during a World Cup match on Tuesday that knocked the Italians out of the tournament.”

Let’s see the pound of flesh, the ear, the shoulder roast or even the mark for that matter. And hey, if you can’t use your hands in the game butt can use your head why not your teeth which are part of your head?

As the investigation proceeds, Italy has been sent home. From the video it looks like more of a tooth slam than a bite – no lowers – and from what we hear no bite marks.

Am I defending biting?  I think so. After all, a bite culture sure runs rings about a gun culture. More biting less shooting! Why isn’t there biting in basketball?  The cartoon explains why there is no biting in real football.
