Guns beat drones a million to one! And the one American killed by drones was a self admitted “enemy combatant” living in Pakistan and unavailable for arrest. In the larger picture, since 1960 we have 1.4 million Americans killed in America by Americans with guns. Drones? Still ONE.
I have a neighbor who has a drone. It is cool, it runs with an electric motor and a battery that lasts about 15 minutes he tells me. It's not called a drone, it's called a model airplane. But it hovers. It was a kit that cost him about $250. He taped a tiny picture camera to it that he set up to take a picture every few seconds. The camera cost less than $100. The range is a few hundred yards. But you know how technology goes, prices drop, quality, speed, and options increase. Soon we may be asking each other,, “What's your drone up to?” “I landed my drone on the ledge over at Seaside Apartments where it's watching the window where Betty Boobs is about to get home from work and take a shower!”
