This caught my attention as some years back my old Golden Retriever J.R, did a similar attack on a 6′ hammerhead in about 2 feet of water in the Florida Keys. It was especially cool because it happened off a pier with about 20 people partying. J.R. won! The shark ran and did escape as no human wanted to go in and grab it be the tail.
