Police are making a point, that people are treating them unfairly about who they are and how they look and what they wear, following them around with cameras, recording everything they do, suspicion that they are about to break the law, leaving police afraid to even get out of their cars for fear that someone may whoop out a phone and brutally film them.
As anyone who digs into the news beyond sound bites knows, facts do not matter must to average Americans, especially the Republican base.
Police have joined the belief over fact crowd in this so called “Ferguson Effect” that African American men are wantonly targeting and killing police officers. Facts play second fiddle to how we feel, what we believe, how we make judgments and how we vote.
Officer Gliniewicz pictured here is just one example of many.
After a hero’s funeral presenting his last radio call of perusing at least one black guy, he was killed in the line of duty. But now we find Officer Gliniewicz staged his own suicide trying to protect his family from embarrassment.
The reason for the suicide may come out in an Illinois press conference later today, even though most people BELIEVE it was because of his choice in hair style. OMG! What’s that on your head? Whatever it is keep your distance because I don’t want it to jump on me!
Is it okay to make fun of a dead cop’s haircut? Hey, back off, it’s not only Jerry Seinfeld, Colin Quinn and Bill Maher fighting political correctness that is bring us the end of civilization, but being politically incorrect is also the central reason Ben Carson and Donald Trump are the front runners in the GOP presidential race.
That is so retarded. Is that okay to say now? It’s okay with me as long as it’s not about really retarded people. But then I suppose I just called retarded people retarded. And there I did it again. This political correctness is all so confusing. Except to Fox News and Rush Limbaugh who have managed to equate Nazis, Hilter, Stalin and totalitarian communism to the word LIBERAL. More successfully than they or anyone ever imagined.
