“If this woman was against the holy Koran and had done it deliberately, and if she was at the same time a non-Muslim woman, then we would justify the action of the people,” Abdul Rahman Ahmadzai spokesman for the country’s religious affairs ministry said.
But if you have been following the worldwide political correctness on this and Middle East war and terrorism this has NOTHING TO DO with Islam or religion. And if you actually believe that may what goes around comes around for you.
This 27 year old woman has been treated for mental illness for 16 years said her parents, who also said it was not pages of the Koran she had burned. I did get something out of this though. If you are beating a woman to death for religions reasons and you can’t find a big stick or a rock, a pail will do!
Actual video footage of woman being beaten to death in downtown Kabul.
“And while the children of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man that gathered sticks upon the Sabbath day. And they that found him gathering sticks brought him unto Moses and Aaron, and unto all the congregation. And they put him in ward, because it was not declared what should be done to him. And the Lord said unto Moses, The man shall be surely put to death: All the congregation shall stone him with stones without the camp. And all the congregation brought him without the camp, and stoned him with stones, and he died; as the Lord commanded Moses.” Numbers 15:32 – 15:36
But hey, after these good religious people did as God commanded, they did not start him on fire and throw him in a river. Well as far as we know anyway.
Which reminds me. I watched EXODUS: Gods and Kings my new home theater out in the garage the other day. Worst movie I ever saw. It made last years’ NOAH look like an Oscar contender. Whoever got it into their head to cast Christian Bale as Moses was 51 cards short of a full deck. Sigourney Weaver, Ben Kingsley, and Aaron Paul (Breaking Bad) were given star billing and between them they had no more than 5 lines. I cannot think of one good thing to say about it from start to finish other than I now know God is an ugly little kid.
