Bowe Bergdahl’s army mates have said they saw a message he left his father before he disappeared saying he was disillusioned with the war in Afghanistan. As were 82% of Americans.
Sorry Stephen, your writers may win the day with the word BERGDGHAZI, but my BERGDAHLI is shorter, sweeter and gets the job done just as well. Enclosed is my resume…
BTW, just read that none of the troops in Bergdahl’s platoon who are calling him names have said he should not have been traded for. All of them say the trade was a good thing.
Back in the day stationed up on the DMZ in Korea I befriended our bartender at the officers club. He called me Jack, for the Daniels I drank too much of. He invited me to his family’s home on not a few occassions. Walls made of flattened Falstaff Beer cans, a 300 pound pig in the kitchen, and kimchi on the table. They helped me with the language which was a good thing, but it caused me to be in constant trouble with not only my higher ups but my peers for hanging out with “gooks”. So I am not too quick too judge on this one. Also keep in mind this is IDAHO, second only to Mississippi in ugly politics.
