With no big guns and a complete lack of racial tension, this story seems to have been regionally scrambled from California and transported to Texas.
18 year old Christian Phillips is in jail over some pretty serious – not yet arrived at – charges for delivering cookies laced with LSD to his local police department. The police became suspicious as the cookies smelled like pot. What’s with this story hey?
What’s with it is the police were wrong, there were no drugs of any sort in the cookies. Which makes one wonder just how well police know what the Hell they’re doing regarding drug testing there, here or anywhere
Well, it seems Christian has been in a bit of trouble of late. He was recently sentenced to community service to bake cookies for police departments in the area. He was also due in court for a more recent of fight with a police officer from the Blue Mound Police Department. On the day in question, Mr. Phillips says he and some friends were smoking pot and baking his police cookies which he hand delivered to the Blue Mound Police Department saying he was there at the behest of Mothers Against Drunk Driving to thank the police for their work.
Phillips had a list of officers due for cookie delivery but denies there was any LSD involved. He does admit that his friends may have added a little pot to the receipt as a joke. Texas Man Accused Of Bringing Cops Drugged Cookies
