Barbara Lafleur’s first stop was Curtis Lumber. As you can see from surveillance cameras, she strolled casually through the store, politely asking a couple employees the time – as she obviously wasn’t encumbered by a watch. No purse was evident either. As a practical consideration, this leads me to wonder where she keeps her money, car keys and ID.
The next stop was convenience store. “The clerk said, ‘Excuse me, ma’am, did you know you have no clothes on?’ and she said, ‘Oh yeah I’m totally fine with that.”
Police were called, who determined that she was neither high nor drunk. Asked why she wore nothing but a smile, Lafleur told them that she is a person who believes in the freedom of nudism. She is a person unafraid to act upon her beliefs, and think of the money she saves by scampering right past the clothing stores!
