Neil Degrasse Tyson’s “Cosmos” is revamped for Creationists in hilarious fashion by Funny or Die, the comedy website. Timothy Simons is featured in this parody showing what “Cosmos” would be like if it were based upon the Biblical ‘record’ in Genesis.
The Funny or Die video should be welcome news, as the series has been the target of Creationist whinging and demanding since its inception. A typical complaint often heard is the insistence that silly ol’ science is no more provable and factual than Creationism. With that said, they believe it is only fair to broadcast a Cosmos series to refute the demonic views of wacky ‘out-there’ Degrasse-Tyson. Well, here it is baby! These are the words you’ve been waiting to hear from ‘What’s Trending Now.'” Creationists, you were right all along!”
Leave slow motion DeGrasse Tyson behind and hop into the white church mini van, where you can travel anywhere! You can ask questions about anything! It doesn’t mean you’re going to get answers though. Maybe you have questions about black holes. Well, Don’t. If it isn’t mentioned in this book, then it doesn’t exist, and you’re not supposed to think about it. Shame on you. Those questions are not for you to know, or they were planted to confuse you by Satan! It’s beginning to look as though ‘series’ might be an ambitious term, perhaps this one episode will cover it.
What is truly revealing to me, is that the words ‘science’ and the name of the show ‘Cosmos’ are often referred to as anti-religious. It is as if the great scientific discoveries never happened, and to bring it to their side of the net, a great God cannot have employed the scientific laws and discoveries being made, only because they don’t see it in an ancient book.
Professor Danny Faulkner this one’s for you! Rackjite wrote this commentary a short time ago. Said Faulkner: “Creationists aren’t even on the radar screen for them, they wouldn’t even consider us plausible at all.” He complains to the Janet Meffert audience who are clueless as to how profoundly implausible creationism is.
Professor Danny taught physics and astronomy at the University of South Carolina – Lancaster. It came as quite a surprise to me that South Carolina even had a university, but sure enough, Professor Danny recently retired from this two year college that boasts “almost 1800 students!” Professor Danny now works full time for various creation science organizations
The story here is not so much the silly hypocrisy of Professor Danny wanting equal time to express his religious beliefs on the new Fox series COSMOS which he would not give evolutionists in his shows, but how he and so many of these kind of people organize to make our children stupid. In fact it’s not the silly crap you can see Professor Danny spew forth in this video denying Global Warming – notice there are not facts against it just, just political images and soundbites – but that he and these organizations want to PASS LAWS to make ALL our children as stupid as they are.
But how can we call a professor, stupid? Sure he got a BS at Bob Jones University where at the time touching a negro in public was cause for ejection from the school. But he did get subsequent degrees from a few other silly Southern colleges. What is stupid is allowing one’s religious beliefs to so scramble one’s brain that this silly nonsense overrides reason, science, data, facts, logic, rationality and all evidence. Stupid is as stupid does.
Danny also believes the Big Bang theory is complete nonsense and fully believes the Bible’s defense that the earth was created in just six days. Every fiber of this man combats evolution at every corner it stands on.
