Talk about places where my vote has never mattered one wit, Texas is second only to Oklahoma, where ever single county votes republican in every election since Geronimo jumped off that mountain. Well, it being Oklahoma it was not hectically a mountain, It was like a big hill with the back sliced off.
Here in Texas we have a Republican SUPER MAJORITY in the legislature which means they can do anything, including changing the Texas Constitution. There are also no state wide Democrats in elected office since Liberal Ann Richards left the Governor’s mansion to go work for the Tobacco Lobby. I think the only reason she won that election was because of the big front page photo of her in the Houston Chronicle drapped in stringers of dead bloody doves she had just killed. Remember, the only good dove is a dead dove. And that’s from the liberal Texas contingent.
