Either druggies are getting dumber, or drugs aren’t as available as the media would lead you to believe, else why would the following stories have appeared recently?
Florida burglars recently broke into a home and spied an urn filled with powder which promised to be the mother load of heroin or cocaine. The 5 teens wasted no time in snorting the contents, which proved to be the remains of the man of the house and his two dogs. Apparently all three of the deceased were stone cold sober when they were turned into ashes, as they provided no buzz for the 5 examples of why tigers eat their young.
Much more dangerous and serious than snorting Uncle Bubbah and his two best hounds, is the latest trend for Meth addicts, your bath salts! The innocent staple of bathrooms for decades is now a favorite of Meth addicts, and goes by misleading names like Ivory Wave, Red Dove and Vanilla Sky. Louisiana has had to outlaw the fragrant bath accessories due to 125 calls to poison control centers in only three months last year.
The salts contain the chemicals mephedrone and methylenedioxypyrovalerone, and the high is described as above all, scary and powerful. One man stabbed himself in the face and stomach while high on salts, and said simply "I couldn’t tell you why I did it." Good times. The people who advertised the famous "Calgon Take Me Away" commercials didn’t see this coming.
