Mrs. Betty Bowers, America’s Best Christian, exposes Goodwill Industries for what it is: A shameless rip-off of religion’s tradition of getting tax-deductible, tax-free donations by tricking people into thinking a money-making business that enriches its leaders, is a charitable enterprise.
Think twice before you donate those old lederhosen to Goodwill, folks! Goodwill says they will do good things with them, but it’s a damned, dirty lie. Betty is incensed that Goodwill has stolen the church’s rightful business model: ‘Sell something that costs nothing,’ and the best way to do it is to trick you into thinking your helping others!
Those at the top rake in over five billion dollars a year, and the government sweetens the deal with an extra one hundred million! Like churches, Goodwill has heavy administrative costs.
You may ask, but what about those who are helped by Goodwill? Some are able to work for the agency and bring home twenty two cents per hour! If Donald Trump becomes a charitable institution – or a church, he can afford to bring his shirts and ties back from China, and have them made in an American sweatshop…Or church.
‘Make tax-free millions while pretending you’re doing good.’ Betty reminds us, that is religion’s corporate motto – and quite frankly, they’re tired of the competition!
