We sometimes hear of lottery winners who say that they’ll keep their jobs despite their good fortune . They love the work, and they obviously respect and genuinely like their co-boss and workers. With $636 million up for grabs, Jimmy’s cousin took to Hollywood Blvd to give passers-by a chance to practice what they’d tell their bosses upon winning the jackpot. It appears that job satisfaction is at an all-time low if these people are any indication.
Volunteers were given masks to protect their anonymity and to assure that they would have jobs to return to – but you can’t save people from themselves. The man wearing a Reagan mask had better win some cash! He not only used the name of his boss, but left no doubt when he revealed the business he was in. I’m certain the past tense is appropriate in his case.
Even those of us who don’t regularly play the lottery like to dream. What would you say to your boss, and how would you spend all of that lovely money? I know you’ve thought about it!
