…What does that make most of the other 250 million White people in America? Or every Republican for that matter?
If you watched FOX News Sunday today, and were dumbfounded by Brit Hume and Little Billy Kristol coming to the strong defense of the Clintons, you only have to understand that throbbing reactionary bulge in their heads which was screaming to them, "If Bill and Hillary are racists, what does that make me!"
We had Bill Clinton using the racial epitaph "Fairy Tale" to explain Obama’s views specifically on Iraq but more generally describing his nice words rather than substance in his campaign. We have Hillary saying that though Martin Luther King brought us to the Civil Rights bills, it was LBJ who pushed them into law. No, that is not racism, or racist, or the news from New Hampshire. What is the news and what is racism is what we have come to call "The Bradley Effect". Too many White people who tell pollsters they have no problem voting for blacks, but in the privacy of voting, they do.
And that – along with there being a few million James Earl Rays’ prancing around down here in Dumbutt with arsenals of weapons – is racism and the problem.
