Gallup recently reported that 31% of Americans and 65% of Republicans are for the impeachment of President Obama. So why is Sarah Palin nuts for saying it?
Easy answer, she is saying it BEFORE the November election rather than AFTER it. She is nuts for putting the now 85% probable Republican takeover of the Senate in jeopardy. Boehner’s silly lawsuit is only to shut those 65% of Republicans up until after the election. And if they do win the Senate, it’s a Spring Impeachment. What fun. After all, President Obama has called in less executive orders than any president since FDR. And there you go. Republican math is much like Republican science.
There seems to be something wrong with the constitution in this. That a simple House majority, by a party vote, can historically and forever taint a President with impeachment for purely political matters. One would think that like the Senate with the power to throw a president out of office, the House would be also required to a two thirds vote.
