At the moment, a week before the election, Greg Abbot is ahead of Wendy Davis by 15 points, adding the margin of error that would make it 20 points. Texas has a very long way to go to purple.
Wendy Davis advocates for OPEN CARRY, more EXECUTIONS and does not mention abortion and she still cannot close the gap down here in Dumbutt.
As a last ditch effort she now appears with Jon Stewart? I dunno… Jon Stewart is a smart person, and here in Texas what we don’t like most are smart people. They make us feel dumb. So I don’t really know if this can help her or not. Though I would guess it’s a ploy to get out the vote. But the “smart people” vote? Here In Texas? Hey both of us are already voting anyway.
Greg Abbott campaignes from a wheel chair, sometimes with Ted Nugent. Abbott is in a wheel chair because in 1984 he displeased God who dropped a tree on his ass.
Abbot has consistently and loudly advocated against the Americans with Disabilities Act and after receiving $10 million dollars from his lawsuit he has advocated and help pass Texas Tort Reform limiting everyone else but him to $250,000. That $10 million in 1984 dollars pays him out over $14,000 a month. Without that money backing his law school education and his politics he most certainly would not be running for governor today. What’s good for me is bad for you!
Sure the callous disregard for others who are forever positioned in a sitting position is part of being a good Republican and an even better Christian, but one would think there must be something else that enamors him with so many Texans other than such abject hypocrisy.
And there is! Greg Abbott has had his wheelchair fitted for holstering handguns, shotguns, rifles and he can accurately fire an AR15 from that wheelchair. Oh, and no abortion for any reason.
