“It’s good to be here in the Bayou City!” Mick tells his audience after the first song.
”It’s good to be anywhere!” Keith interrupts.
In accepting a $7 million dollar advance by publisher Little Brown for this 2010 release we all hope Keith Richards remembers what it was he did over the years. Richards has been my Rock and Roll hero since I first heard that greatest riff in rock music from 1965, the hook for Satisfaction. Is there anyone who cannot hum that one on queue?
The man behind the music of the Rolling Stones, Keith Richards was always ready to rock while Mick Jagger was always ready to do business. As a very big fan of AC/DC, I have always bought a few front row seats whenever they came to town. My invites are most often received with giggles and crazy looks from my friends and acquaintances who tell me to grow up. About 10 years ago I picked up a Rolling Stone with Keith on the cover, within the interview he was asked what was his favorite band, the answer? ”AC/DC aw right…” I have that on my wall as my redemption, thank you Keith.
