Bass-ackward Texas is where the pie hole and the a whole seem to have
been confused, and the first jury trial for which I’d ever volunteer to
be a juror took place.
I’ve found that when drinking with a wholes, at the least, they’re
annoying, at worst, violent or soggy with crying jags, in this case,
drinking with his a whole got a Texas man very dead.
A Lake Jackson couple started the controversy. It seems that Michael
Warner had a problem with his throat, and a fondness for enemas and
alcohol. The former was easily fixed by the latter. In other words, Mrs.
Warner had been accustomed to using a nice crystal glass for herself for
after dinner drinks, and an enema bag with a libation in it for her
hubby Michael. It is not said what they did if and when they went out
for drinks.
Without knowing the facts, it would seem easy for a jury to convict Jean
Warner of murdering her husband. Add to the fact that she’d burned his
will a month before his death, naturally it raised suspicion when that
final shot of sherry seemed to have taken his life.
The amount she poured in,putting me in mind of a Jiffy Libations
attendant funneling massive amounts under the hood,
included two large bottles of sherry, which caused his blood alcohol
level to soar to six times the legal limit for stone cold drunk in
Texas, or 0.47% It certainly seemed to many that this amount caused him
to fly to that great upside down barstool in the sky, receive a
"permanent fatal errors" message and head for a permanent dirt nap.
All charges were dropped according to the defense attorney Jeri
Yenne,"because the man had a severe alcohol abuse problem."
and further stated it was not obvious his wife had committed a crime.
If nothing else, don’t try this at home kids. If you truly must drink
with your a whole, truly KNOW your assistant and limit all "will talk"
to a minimum, and when sober. As an added precaution, stop BEFORE the
number of bottles start to blur, so you can still say "when"! Full Story…
