Not to be out done by Gomer throwing his hat in the presidential race, Goober has decided to run for Speaker of the House. It will be interesting to take note of who votes for him. Though it must be said that Louie Gohmert did get 71% of the vote in his East Texas district a few months ago – Lufkin, Tyler, Longview. This is down from his past wins of 90% and 87% in 2010 and 2012 respectively.
The drop is likely due to Goober no longer pumping gas at the Feed and Seed and sometimes too busy to shine his head.
With Michele Bachmann gone Louie Gohmert is now IT. The connection between really really stupid and Jesus is really really hard to ignore.
I wonder if Gomer is up for a committee chair? Probably not anymore hey? Would love to see him running the “Intelligence” committee though.
