Good defense for the new style in men’s haircuts, though shouldn’t it be much shorter on the bottom and much longer on top? What happened to it being the other way around?
As far as haircuts go I always just let it go until my wife starts complaining I am starting to look too much like Jim Morrison or Mick Jagger. Better I look like Henrick Himmler or an Hispanic convict.
Men had very long hair for a few million years, in fact it was not until the turn of the 20th century that this short on sides long on top fashion came upon the world. It was mainly because of lice and cooties in the trenches of WWI.
My time on the DMZ in Korea taught me why the South Korean troops all had crew cuts. Because it is hard for North Koreans to sneak across the line and carry the South Korean heads back home with nothing to hold on to. Carrying them by the mouth and jaw is slippery and sacks are not cheap in North Korea. There’s a long sack line.
