In beauty news, the folks back in Wasilla who launched Sarah Palin and her Beehive hairdo on the road to fame and fortune, are soon to have their own 15 minutes of fame. In September, The Beehive Salon will be featured in a two part series on TLC, the same network which brought us ‘Sarah Palin’s Alaska.’ While the former client has obviously moved on, she may put in an appearance – presumably for the right price.

TLC promises that "The personalities of the owner and her staff are as big as the hairstyles they create." That is a tall order, but we’ve seen their work and have no doubt that they can fill it.
