Parents are outraged! Children have had their innocence destroyed! Naughty words were said to be used while answering questions the girls – 6th through 8th grade – asked concerning keep the groping boys at bay. Questions relating to not getting STDs or pregnant. Oh the horror!
Parents want Hitchcock school board member Shirley Price to resign.
The school board members are siding with Ms Price including a few local ministers, while what seems and organized group of parents are up in arms screaming for her head on a platter.

Hitchcock is a stones thrown from here. It adjoins the town of Santa Fe, Texas which you may remember from a few years back when they gained national attention for the "blowhorn prayers".
Before Santa Fe Friday night high school football games the fans would buck the constitution by having students lead denominational prayers to Jesus before the games over the PA. The gimmick was to use "students" rather than ORGANIZED by the school itself. It didn’t fly in court which said the PA could not be used because it was school property. So to foil the constitution, hundreds of the fine people of Santa Fe brought amplified blow horns to the games which they used to all in unison, pray for Jesus to kick the crap out of Hitchcock! I think Pat Robertson had something to do with buying the blow horns if I recall.
A few years back I carted my then 15 year old down to the Santa Fe community center where he and his band played for a middle school dance. As I wandered around the small tax supported building I noticed a standing pedestal sign that read. "KKK Meetings here every second Tuesday 7pm."
I just wanted yall to get a taste of the Hitchcock/Santa Fe area. A taste un flavored by having to worry about selling Bud and Brisket to the fine people of Hitchcock/Santa Fe. Which I am coming to believe is THE WHOLE PROBLEM WITH EVERYTHING. "Whatever sells."
