. PETA “People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals” sounds like a friend of our furry pets, the kind of organization to earn a warm spot in the hearts of animal lovers everywhere. For those who don’t care about animals, PETA’S clothless celebrities may endear the organization to them. The clothesless beauties are seen decrying the use of fur or leather in the clothing industry, and protesting the abuse of animals for food and research. While the models can be excused if profit is a motive, PETA cannot. This organization is no friend of the animals, particularly pets. In fact, PETA believes humans have no business living with pets, and it seems that their aggressive extermination campaign bears out this belief.
The more you learn about the multi-million dollar organization, the odder it is. If you’re thinking about making a donation that benefits homeless pets, a local shelter would be a much better option than PETA…And be sure to spread the word.
