Critics – possibly brunette critics, call the "Island of Blondes" discriminatory, but the Lithuanian company will forge ahead in an effort to entice tourists by employing only blondes for their new resort island. The company behind the all-blonde resort is named Olialia – which appropriately enough is pronounced "Ooh-la-la" .
The blonde experience begins with the flight in, which is piloted and crewed by blondes only. All jobs on the island will be staffed by blondes, many of whom hold degrees. It is hoped that the effort will disprove many long-standing blonde jokes. The Maldives is a group of more than 1,000 islands in the Indian Ocean, of which approximately 200 are inhabited. The Island of Blondes expects to open in 2015, there is still time to book a flight to paradise. Best you do the math…
