"Ohh-la-la" is the apt pronunciation of Olialia, the Lithuanian company whose brain-child it is to open a tourist island staffed completely by blondes; from the pilot who flies you in, to the hotel management and entertainment, only blondes need apply. Many of the blondes hold degrees, and hope to prove long-standing blonde jokes to be wrong.
The Indian Island paradise, which is scheduled to open in 2015, may have hit a serious snarl or two. Women with hair color other than blonde feel that the company is discriminating. With more than 1,000 islands in the Maldives,
perhaps the company can open one for each preference, proving stereotypes of redheads, brunettes and their raven haired sisters to be untrue as well.
