Samuel L. Jackson who as of last week was one of the top actors on call for big movie parts and television ad spots has played the ICE BUCKET CHALLENGE for celebrities to sing his song “I can’t breath” referring to a loaded line containing “racist police.”
I suppose we will know how this goes with the Quicksilver Card ads. I wonder how many police union leaders have already called Capitol One screaming their heads off?
Well now we have another celebrity artist Republicans can no longer go see in movies or events. Which pretty much leaves them with Chuck Norris, Ted Nugent, Lynryd Skynryd, Mel Gibson, Kelsey Grammer and Britney Spears. Oh and that little bald country western guy who sings flag songs at Sean Hannity rallies.
“I can hear my neighbor cryin’ ‘I can’t breathe’
Now I’m in the struggle and I can’t leave
Calling out the violence of the racist police
We ain’t gonna stop ’til people are free
We ain’t gonna stop ’til people are free”
