Last week Sarah Palin said she might start a new political party with Right-wing talk show host Mark Levin, The Freedom Party, an official party name for the Tea Party. A few days later she said she may enter the GOP primary in Alaska to run for the US Senate. Yesterday she said that it is not that she is leaving the Republican Party but the Republican Party has left her.
So what’s dumb about any of that? That’s just Tea Party talk radio crap. What is dumb is that she has a 73% positive rating with Republicans, and almost half of independents. That’s better than Jeb Bush or Rand Paul. This seems presently to be all about her Christian bigotry directed at Mexicans, Which the majority of Republicans are with her upon. It makes no sense, other than getting herself in the news.
The smart thing for her to do is to collect her checks from Fox News and then in 2015 quit and enter the Republican Primaries. She will most certainly do better than than Michele Bachmann did in 2012 and more than likely win Iowa and South Carolina in the first few days.
Since Ted Nugent threw his hat into the presidential ring last week, there is little doubt as to the ticket pictured above. Palin Nugent 2016.
It is time for the GOP to let the Right-wing crazies have the nomination. Let’s see how it goes. Palin and Nugent sure as Hell would get the white vote to the polls as never before. I do worry about the NRA with that ticket though. I wonder if they will be able to get their erections down long enough to get to the polls without embarrassment.
