Seinfeld, Happy Festivus for the Rest of Us

While many throughout the world busy themselves tarting up once-noble fir trees, Festivus celebrants bring home an unadorned aluminum pole, the central symbol of the holiday. I suspect that Mom’s Christmas gift last year, the portable Pole from her ‘Pole Dancing for Fun and Fitness’ might work in a pinch.

It dawns on me that the "Airing of the Grievances" and "Pinning the head of the house to the ground" aren’t unlike many annual family Christmas celebrations if only people were honest. Here’s a look back at the first Festivus.
