The Florida woman who became a media sensation, when she claimed to have had surgery to implant a third breast, got one stuck in her luggage this week, revealing that it had all been a hoax to generate publicity. The 21-year-old massage therapist who calls herself Jasmine Tridevil, became a media sensation when she recently announced that she’d paid $20,000 to have a third breast surgically implanted. Videos and photos of her threesome, and ‘news’ interviews made her a viral media sensation. The look isn’t entirely original. A prostitute from Mars sported the triad in the movie ‘Total Recall.’ None of this is as bizarre as her stated reason for the surgery.
When asked why she would risk dangerous and expensive surgery, Tridevil answered that it was an attempt to make herself unattractive to men, adding “Because I don’t want to date anymore.” The lady who allegedly sought to turn off attention from men – who are famously fond of boobs, then posted videos and photos of her barely covered three amigos. Do you smell a rat? Considering her stated reasons for the surgery, perhaps adding interest to the breast region wasn’t a well thought out move. Adding an extra nose would achieve her stated goal, as would implanting stomach fat or hormonal treatments enabling her to grow a beard. Boobs, wherever they’ are placed, in any number, are guaranteed to have the opposite of the effect she claimed to be seeking.
The jig, as they say – is up. A luggage report which was liberated from the Tampa International Airport reveals two of Tridevil’s secrets, which were subsequently verified by SNOPES. A three inch breast prosthesis is listed as part of her baggage. As an added bonus, her name was listed as Alisha Hessler, Tampa massage therapist.
Did I forget to mention that her ‘other’ goal has long been to attract enough media attention to star in her own reality show?
This is just possibly America’s number one preoccupation. When you hear of a child lost in a weather balloon, or a woman with three boobs, it’s safe to assume “reality show ploy” until proven otherwise.
In a previous bid for viral fame in December of 2013, Tridevil – as Alisha Hessler, made a man wear a dunce cap and a sign reading “I beat women” while standing on a busy street corner. The story circulated, was that he had beaten our heroine up. While the story, complete with her ‘bruised’ face made the rounds of social media and news outlets, a police report was never filed.
What does it say about us as a society that people are willing to do fake absolutely any disingenuous scam in an effort to of latch onto a ‘reality’ show?
